The Hincks Centre were delighted to host partners from Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Flanders, Belgium for the third partner meeting for the Erasmus+ eWBL project on the 5th and 6th of November 2019.
The partners discussed and progressed Output 1 (content and formatting of the training programme) and Output 2 (project website and learning platform) of the project.
The Hincks Centre team showcased two examples of work-based-learning activities in Cork Institute of Technology. The partners were served a three course lunch by trainee chefs and waiting staff in the Training Restaurant on campus. The partners toured the training facilities and met with Management from the Department of Tourism and the Department of Craft Studies who explained apprenticeships and work-based learning in their respective departments.
